    Thansgiving Day

              One of the greatest celebrations in the USA is Thanksgiving day. Last Thursday 24th November we were not in class so here we have a link to learn about the festival and revise the use of tenses in the past.

              We can also practise the use of prepositions with this exercise about the Wampanoag people.

    Unit 1 B: family and adjectives

    • Let's pay this game to revise some of the vocabulary of family members.

      Final Examinations

      I inform you about the dates for the final exams in 1º CAL as the EOI Sevilla has set for this school year:

      • Oral exam: Monday 30th May.
      • Written exam: Wednesday 25th May.
      The dates for the revision of these exams will be set in June.
      Next week you can ask as many questions as you have previous to the exam. I hope you are studying hard and I will solve the doubts you have for your teacher.

      To the cinema

      Next Wednesday we are going to the cinema to watch a notorious film in the original languague with subtitles: The king's speech directed by Tom Hooper.

      • on 16th February Written exam including Reading (45'); Listening (15 or 20') and Writing (about 60').
      • on 21st February Oral exam including a monologue and a dialogue with a partner (about 15').
